Submission Guidelines

Read the full file, citation, length, licensing, originality, and editorial requirements before preparing your work.

Submit a double-spaced Microsoft Word file in .doc or .docx format.
Use Chicago citation style with endnotes, not footnotes, and include a Works Cited section.
Place illustrations and supporting material—including text excerpts, charts, tables, graphics, images, multimedia, and supplementary datasets—at the relevant points in the text, not at the end. Include the appropriate license for each item.
We will consider work of any length, but most pieces selected for publication are expected to be 4,000–6,000 words, excluding references. Longer papers should be shortened to this range before submission when possible.
We will not consider work that does not follow these formatting and style requirements.

Submissions must not have been published in a student, professional, or academic publication.
If you submit the same piece elsewhere, tell us if another publication accepts it. Eidos does not republish previously published work.

Accepted authors must take part in the editorial review process and work with Eidos editors to prepare the submission for publication.
